Went for breakfast, good food at affordable prices.

The best food in the town of Rehoboth. Pancakes tasted as good as my grandmothers. Portions are plenty.

Exceptional staff and breakfast goodies. The pancakes are out of this world. I have never been in an establishment where the staff is so gracious and welcoming. Did I mention it is steps from the beach and boardwalk.

Absolutely awesome pancakes! Great portions. My kids had grilled cheese and bacon sandwiches and after looking at them, I wanted them too! Yum!

Amazing breakfast! Sometimes there can be a wait to get seated but it is well worth it. The restaurant is so homey. You can also sit on the porch to eat. In the afternoon it becomes a ice cream shop.

Great family place to go. The ice cream was amazing..and the next morning the breakfast tasted like it was out of my mother's kitchen it was so good. It has a nice, quiet, family friendly atmosphere and reasonably priced! They also have a nice menu selection. I would love to return and would definitely recommend!

Lovely old fashioned eatery right off the boardwalk. We had breakfast and the French toast was great. Coffee was only so so, but I am a coffee snob so it probably won't bother most people.

I love this little place. The menu is small and simple, but when you're sitting within half a block of the boardwalk & beach, how fancy do you need? If you come more than one day on your visit, you'll be remembered and greeted like you've been coming for years. There aren't many places left like Royal Treat, so enjoy this one... it's coming up on its 35th anniversary.

Favorite Ice cream place in rehoboth

Really was a royal treat for our royal family :-). The food was excellent, great coffee and customer service was excellent. They gave us a prime table for the kiddo as requested and waitress was great.

Best breakfast in Rohobeth Beach

The ice cream is very good, a lot of variety. It has vintage decor. It is also nice to sit on the porch there the only negative is that they only take cash, and the line can get very long at times.

Update - JULY 2016Yep, still great! Original review - JULY 2015 Breakfast is served startin at 8. The ice cream parlor opens at 1. Service is wonderful and friendly. Food has always been delicious. This is a regular stop for us while in Rehoboth.

Great food, a young busboy named Mike helped me get more coffee time after time. I tipped him 2$ personally. Overall great staff and great food. I would recommend this spot to any family!

Charming restaurant that would look nice and fit-in in Rehoboth or Maine with it’s quaint appearance and screened in dining porches. They serve Hershey’s ice cream. The line gets pretty long at night. Based on other reviews I will try out breakfast next year and update my review.

This place is great! Went for both brunch and for icecream later! Their breakfast is reasonably priced for the area and very good! They do tend to be pretty packed, so avoid peak times if possible. Also, they are cash only, so be prepared for that. The icecream was delightful! They do old-timey icecream parlor type stuff, but you can also get stuff to go. Highly recommend! Great local business!

Best pancakes in the world. We’ve been eating at this restaurant for 30 years and we always get the pancakes for breakfast. They are consistently perfection. It’s a must try if you’ve never had them.

Excellent choice for a lovely breakfast!Love their Italian French toast and their oversized omelette. Wonderful front porch dining and the waitstaff is so friendly and you get great service! We always take a lovely walk on the Rehoboth boardwalk after our meal it’s just a few steps away!

In the morning great for breakfast in the evening a perfect spot for a Royal Treat!! Great start to the day and end the day with the yummiest of sweet ice cream treats. Staff is friendly and keeps things moving along. So many choices you'll have trouble choosing but no worries, there's always tomorrow night! Go it's the best!

First time at the Royal Treat...the food portions are extremely generous, enough to share amongst two people. The prices are very reasonable. They only accept cash, so for those who only use their debit card (as I do) so bring enough cash. Overall, convenient location, good food with good portions. The reason for the 4 out of 5 stars brings me to the service; all the servers were very pleasant albeit one waitress (who is on her 21st Summer of service) was unpleasant and seemed consistently annoyed...maybe she was having a bad day but then again this is a customer driven business so appropriateness is appreciated.
